I am who I am, and I am nothing more.
The life and thoughts of a music obsessed, nerdy teenager who should have lived during the 1950's.

Since it’s Amanda Palmer’s birthday and she just announced the pre-order for her new album, I thought I should share it with all of you wonderful people (I also know that most of you probably don’t care but oh well). For the unbelievable price of just $1, you can order a digital download of her entire album, help pay for the cost of recording and promoting it and fund her tour (and more), all independent of a record label. I can tell you now, it’ll definitely be worth it.
Wedding Announcement of the Day: A year and two days to the date of their engagement, Amanda F. Palmer and Neil “Himself” Gaiman finally did the deed in Ayelet Waldman’s parlor.
Congrats to the creepy couple!

This makes me so happy, they’re such an incredible couple (both together and apart) and I wish them the very best.

I figured I’d do a much quicker list of EPs I loved this year. So enjoy!

Ampersand | Amanda PalmerLove Will Tear Us Apart // Evelyn Evelyn
This is one of my favourite tracks (and yes, it is a Joy Division cover) from the new self-titled record that I received earlier today. Please give it a listen and tell me what you think?
The Dresden Dolls - 672/Half Jack.
Though I am aware the majority of you have no interest in the Dresden Dolls or have at least never paid them any attention, this performance is amazing - especially the instrumental between 672 and Half Jack. Not only are they magnificent performers, but they are quite possibly the most attractive band I have ever set eyes upon as well.
