I am who I am, and I am nothing more.
The life and thoughts of a music obsessed, nerdy teenager who should have lived during the 1950's.

My mum has a friend named Tanya who is a very talented woman and she designs jewellery and makes silver supplies. She’s also a school teacher living in Bangkok but she is originally from Australia. She has a family with three children she dearly loves.
Right now she is dying. She has issues with a major artery that feeds blood to the right side of her chest and her right arm. The tissue and muscle in this arm and her right hand is already starting to die and if she doesn’t have surgery soon, this will continue to happen until all the muscle and tissue in her right arm dies, along with the rest of her body. If she doesn’t have this surgery, she was expected to only live for two months longer but with the rate things are going it may only be weeks.
Tanya need this surgery but the problem is that she can’t afford it. She isn’t able to fly back to Australia (where she would have easily been able to have surgery) for the surgery because the risk of her dying during the flight are far too great. She needs help. She needs $12, 000 for the surgery and has managed to raise $2,467.69 so far. She has had to reschedule her surgery date several times because she doesn’t have the money to pay for it but it can’t be put off much later.
Please do what you can to help. You can donate money here: http://pledgie.com/campaigns/7593
Or buy some of her items here and here. Every single dollar counts.
Even if you are unable to donate or make a purchase, it would be greatly appreciated if you could reblog this or send out links to this blog post on twitter just to get people more aware of the situation. It would be absolutely tragic to lose someone this amazing.
