Stop This Catastrophe!

I was lurking the ‘unpopular opinion’ tag (because it’s interesting, not because I’m a troll or I like upsetting/enraging/abusing innocent people for having an opinion - that sort of thing is not cool at all) and I clicked on a ‘read more’ clearly containing Glee spoilers. I know I’m probably late on this like everything else on the internet, but: THEY ARE PERFORMING FUN.’S WE ARE YOUNG ON GLEE.

I’m not sure whether I’m excited yet or not because I love Glee, I really do, but I’ve loved Fun. for so long and I sort of hate when they cover songs I love because I’m always so conflicted about it (probably due to higher expectations). I will admit though, it’s always lovely when they cover a song I love and it ends up sounding brilliant *coughDOGDAYS&ICOULDHAVEDANCEDALLNIGHT* but sometimes I’m rather disappointed *coughGIVESYOUHELLcough* (I’m still on the fence about the Heads Will Roll/Thriller mash-up because I adore the Yeah Yeah Yeahs).

In spite of all of this nonsense, I am so damn proud of Fun. and even though I love them selfishly sometimes, I would still very much appreciate the rest of the world loving them too (Aim and Ignite is basically the perfect album and everyone needs to have this band in their life because their new album (out in February) will also be just as beautiful).
